Travelling North on the M9
To locate Argaty Red Kites when travelling NORTH on the M9, follow the instructions below.
Travel North to the end of the M9, leaving Stirling on your right.
At the Keir Roundabout (end of the M9 junction 11), take the second exit off the roundabout, signposted A9 for Perth.
Just over 1 mile along the A9, take the first exit for A820, Dunblane and Doune.
Turn left in the direction of Doune and Callander for 0.7miles
After travelling 0.7 miles turn right at the signpost to Argaty and brown tourist board sign to Argaty Red Kite Viewing. Please note that this is the second right turn.
The road forks immediately: keep to the left.
After 150 metres you cross a bridge over a stream. Continue for just over 1 mile until you reach a junction with a bungalow and bus shelter in front of you.
Take right turn, signposted Argaty, Lerrocks and the Lundies – the road is marked as a No Through Road. Please drive carefully – this road is narrow and winding.
Continue for just under 1 mile, passing Argaty House, the former walled garden and negotiating a bad bend!
You will come uphill through trees and then out onto the flat where you will see Lerrocks Farm in front of you.
The road takes a left turn along the foot of the farm (do not take the private drive up into the farm) and the car park lies on the right just beyond the buildings.
Travelling South on the A9Travel North to the end of the M9, leaving Stirling on your right.

Travelling South on the A9, ignore the first exit for Dunblane and Kinbuck B8033.
1 mile further on, take the exit for A820, Dunblane and Doune and Callander (A84).

Travelling South East on the A84 from Callander towards Doune, pass the Scottish Antiques and Arts Centre.
Just after the start of the 30mph zone, turn left for the Town Centre and Dunblane A820.
Continue into Doune, bearing left at the Cross.
At the far end of the Main Street take the left turn into King Street between the church and L’Angolino (not the turn immediately before the church).
Bear left, driving alongside the park (which is on your left hand side) and then under an old railway bridge.
Continue for just under 1 mile until you reach some houses and a junction with a bungalow and a bus shelter.
Take the left hand turn – it is signposted as a No Through Road. Please drive carefully – this road is narrow and winding.

Travelling North West on the A84 from Stirling towards Doune, pass the Safari Park, cross the bridge over the River Teith and continue up the hill, past the Woodside Hotel.
Take the right turn marked A820 Town Centre and Dunblane.
Continue into Doune, bearing left at the Cross.
At the far end of the Main Street take the left turn into King Street between the church and L’Angolino (not the turn immediately before the church).
Bear left, driving alongside the park (which is on your left hand side) and then under an old railway bridge.
