Welcome
Here on our working farm we are glad to be able to share with visitors the wonderful red kites. Brought back from the edge of extinction in the UK, there are now growing populations of these birds thanks to a reintroduction project headed by the RSPB. Each afternoon at our feeding station a ranger will tell the story of this reintroduction and stay to watch with you as the birds come in to the little bit of food we put out. They are wild birds and we want to keep them wild so it is just a snack for them and we can never exactly predict how many birds will feed or how quickly! We also have a simple visitor centre with lots of information and welcome videos to watch.
